Cycling Odyssey is a cycling tour operator based in Nairobi, Kenya, run by Neil Ribeiro. We design and run fully supported experiential and charity cycling rides across Kenya. This policy explains what information we collect through cyclingodyssey.co, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect information you give us directly when you submit a ride enquiry through our "Plan your ride" form:
We do not use cookies, and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. The only third-party request a visit to this site makes is to Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces used on this page; this can expose your IP address to Google in the same way loading any web font does. We do not otherwise track your browsing activity on this site.
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your ride enquiry: to design a route, put together a support plan, and send you a quote. We may use the email address or WhatsApp number you provide to follow up on your enquiry.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Where necessary to deliver a ride you've booked with us, we may share relevant details (such as your name, and dietary or medical information you've told us about) with operational partners — for example, hotels, transport providers, or medical and security support on route — strictly so they can do their part of the job.
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you book a ride with us, for the duration of planning and running that ride plus a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, contact us using the details below and we will do so unless we're required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email ride@cyclingodyssey.co and we'll action your request promptly.
Our rides and this site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
