Circling the Crown: Mount Kenya Mashujaa Cycling Challenge

Calling all Cycling heros to embark on an unforgettable cycling adventure as we circumnavigate the majestic Mount Kenya, immersing ourselves in the awe-inspiring landscapes and rich cultures of the region. Over the course of three days, we’ll pedal our way through breathtaking scenery, with overnight stops in Meru and Naromoru, before returning to our starting point in Embu. Get ready for an exhilarating journey filled with challenges, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences.

Day 1: Embu to Meru

Our journey begins in Embu, where we’ll set out towards the towering peak of Mount Kenya. Cycling through picturesque countryside and vibrant towns, we’ll gradually ascend towards Meru, our first overnight stop. Along the way, we’ll be treated to stunning views of Mount Kenya’s snow-capped peaks, providing a majestic backdrop to our adventure.

Day 2: Meru to Naromoru

As the sun rises on our second day, we’ll continue our circumnavigation of Mount Kenya, pedaling through diverse landscapes that range from lush forests to open plains. Our route will take us through quaint villages and vibrant markets, offering glimpses into the local way of life. By day’s end, we’ll reach Naromoru, nestled at the foothills of Mount Kenya, where we’ll rest and recharge for the final leg of our journey.

Day 3: Naromoru to Embu

On our third and final day, we’ll complete our epic journey around Mount Kenya, cycling back to our starting point in Embu. This leg of the journey will test our endurance as we tackle challenging terrain and steep climbs. However, the stunning vistas and sense of accomplishment will make every pedal stroke worth it. As we reach Embu once again, we’ll celebrate our achievement and the bonds forged along the way.
